Northeast Welding and Fabrication was founded in the late 1950s, building concrete forms, railings, mounting brackets, and various sub-components for local customers.
NEWFAB quickly grew to add contract manufacturing to its list of services offered. Contracts varied from major sub-assemblies to turnkey equipment, custom built for each clients needs.
The company even developed proprietary manufacturing processes, machinery, and tooling to manufacture these custom products.
In 2009, the company acquired Design Fab, a designer and manufacturer of expansion joints and dampers; serving the environmental, industrial, and energy markets.
NEWFAB today is a full service metal fabrication shop and contract manufacturer. The company designs and fabricates; Expansion joints, Dampers, Radio Frequency Transmission systems, and other custom products for buyers around the world.
